Tashkent hosted the Uzbek-Korean business forum on Oct. 11, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan stated.
The delegation from the Republic of Korea included about 70 representatives and heads of companies and organizations in such spheres as trade, transport, logistics, construction, metallurgy, automotive, electrical, textile, as well as food industry and tourism.
The event was attended by 150 representatives of business circles of the two countries.
South Korean businessmen had the opportunity to discuss development of ties through B2B and B2G meetings.
On Oct. 10, the Korean delegation also visited Tajikistan to participate in the trilateral Tajik-Uzbek-Korean business forum in Dushanbe.
On Oct. 12, the Korean delegation also plans to visit the Angren Free Economic Zone and other industrial enterprises, as well as to get acquainted with the tourism potential of Tashkent.
A number of bilateral meetings will also be organized.
