Institute of History of ANAS has published the second and third volumes of the book “The History of Azerbaijan in the First Half of the XVIII Century in Russian-language sources”, as well as “Azerbaijan and the Ottoman Empire in the XV-XVI centuries” book.
The author of the collection of documents published in the Russian language is Professor Tofig Mustafazadeh, the head of the department of general history and author of the book translated into Turkish, is Professor Shahin Fazil, the head of the science and historiography department.
The collection of “History of Azerbaijan in the First Half of the XVIII Century in Russian-language sources” has been published within the framework of the project “History of Azerbaijan in the First Sources”. The head of the project is the director of the Institute of History, academician Yagub Mahmudov. Tofig Mustafazade is the author of “Preface” of the book, translated by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Institute.
The book “Azerbaijan and the Ottoman Empire in the XV-XVI centuries” published by “TEAS Press” publishing house reflects materials about relations with Turkey, Central Asia, Syria, Egypt, Russia, Georgia, Venice, Germany, Portugal and other countries. The work is based on a number of primary sources and research works in Persian, Turkish, Italian, Russian, English, German and French.
